Campaign Story

My name is Kyle and I just want to tell a little about our story to give people an understanding of our current situation and call for help. I have never been the person to ask for help – I was taught all my life that if I wanted anything in life – I would have to work hard to attain it – and if I couldn’t I’d just have to work harder. My wife Angie and I both work for an insurance company where we are Software Engineers. We do not have enough money to come up with for our IVF treatment and as my wife Angie is 41 within the next few years, she will not have the eggs left for us to have our first child together.
I am 35 and she is 41 – We both have waited our whole life to meet the right person and get married and have children — In our case we met a little late in life and the percentage rate for my wife to naturally get pregnant without any IVF intervention is roughly 2%. To give some history – Angie lost her mother and father by the time she was 8 and was adopted by her new mom and dad. She has an older brother — But her and her brother have carried around with them the feeling like a biological connection with family has always been missing. By us creating our own biological baby together – it would help to fill that void and bring infinite amounts of joy to our life.
A couple of weeks ago Angie and I met with one of the best fertility doctors in Nashville Tennessee for an initial consultation where they ran an ultrasound on her ovaries, an HSG and fertility blood work which all came back normal for her age. I also gave a sperm sample, and a semen analysis was performed, and the results came back normal.
These are all hopeful signs pointing in the direction that IVF will be successful. The cost of IVF is around 20,000$ per round (with a 55%-65% success rate) and we are both asking for your help to contribute towards our goal so that we can proceed with the IVF process as soon as possible. We would both be so grateful if you could help make our dream come true!
